Update:

Almost all the sounds recorded for Oscillith Matara were created by instruments designed by Ukrainian-born engineers and artists. Furthermore, these instruments are produced collaboratively by citizens of Ukraine, Poland, and Russia.

I rely heavily on the creativity, ingenuity and passion of these amazing individuals. I use these instruments everyday. These people are my friends whom I care about deeply. I am scared and I want to help.

All proceeds from the sale of these works will be donated to benefit the humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. In addition, a portion will be sent directly to those friends in the music community that are fleeing this tragic war… These artists and engineers are now refugees.


Oscillith Matara is a series of acousmatic compositions exploring themes of birth, death, and transformation.

Each piece conveys a different path in the death process. Some are slow, some are violent, and some are transcendent. These are imaginings of my own inevitable end.

Ehule is a metaphysical exploration of sound. Ehule creates an immersive soundscape woven together using ambisonic field recordings and electronic instruments. Influences are drawn from drone metal, noise, and cinematic sound design. The project started as a means to use sound for supporting different emotional states in the listener.

Composed as sonic portals, participants are invited to travel inward to listen deeply to the world around us and one another.


All works are performed as unedited takes of my daily practice.

Most pieces are performed on a combination of Soma Laboratory instruments like the Lyra 8, Enner, Pulsar 23 and Cosmos.

Elta Music Solar 50 is used on a few tracks

Olga's Breadth and SaPaZa are made entirely with Lefty's Sound Lab King Drone Synth and a Soma Cosmos.

Other pieces are played on a custom Left-handed baritone lap steel guitar made by Steel Rail Guitars.
